Re: Team in the Championship
Whether we go down or not there's a lot of our squad coming to the end of their careers and will need replacing whether or not Kretinsky puts his hand in his pocket which I think he already has or we have bright new manager that will blood some of our youngsters !
These are worrying times for us and how Moyes is still in charge is beyond me.

Re: Team in the Championship
We will beat Forest at the weekend and all will change, keep the faith guys. In Moyes we don’t trust, but there’s enough quality in this squad to get us safe even with Mr 8-1-1 formation in charge

Re: Team in the Championship
Pentonville- nice to see an optimistic post but you’re wrong.

We won’t beat Forest and Villa.

Paqueta and Scammaca will make no difference as they either won’t play, be isolate or played out of position.

We WILL go down without doubt if Moyes stays in charge and I stand on that.

Currently 9/2 I don’t even bet but would happily heavily back that if Moyes stays the season.

Moyes don’t even care.

If you’re happy with him undermining the club and the fans in nearly every interview that he dies in the arrogant and self absorbed way that he does then I’m shocked. Always had you down for someone who wouldn’t stand for that.

You pick up Rice’s interviews and won’t stand for that yet you’re willing to give Moyes a pass.

What’s the difference?

In my opinion a player wanting out to go win things is more understandable than a manager who constantly undermines his employers and his workforce.

Re: Team in the Championship
There is little point in giving up the ghost. We can still survive and do it inspite of Moyes. We WILL beat Forest and we WILL beat Villa so there is 6 points. Have not looked in to the rest yet but those 2 results can be stood on. Believe it or not, having Scamacca back with Paqueta will make a huge difference. Maybe not to us but it will put a little doubt or fear of the unknown into the other teams. At the moment, we suffer from our starting 11 being bang fucking predictable. I can tell you what Antonio or Benrhama or Bowen is gonna do with the ball the moment they fucking get it. We dig out the weirdest players for grief. Emerson got so much fucking stick b4 he arrived and is no worse than Cresswell. Kehrer gets grief for errors but nobody comments on his attitude and his commanding of players around him People shame Soucek for his inabilty to pass but toss of Rice who smiles his way through interveiws stating he cant wait to leave as he wanks over what his new club are achieveing. We need to pull together. Moyes is a massive cunt but I hope he is here till the end of the seaosn now cos that means we didnt get any worse than we already are! we wont be in the championshiop next season. New owners, new manager and new cash injection!!!! Good times incoming ;-)

''Moyes is taking us down whether you like it or not''

If we go down it will be his fault for sure, but technically I very much doubt he will take us down as such, and I know some won't believe it, but if this isn't turned around very soon he will get the bullet.

steve, ignore the fucking idiots having a pop, it's a perfectly reasonable question given the position we're in. the same clueless cunts were pleading for him to be given more time in october & november

Re: Team in the Championship
We have been diabolical for 14 months. We have won 1 game in 11 and yet there are still people on here who think the writing isn't on the wall, look at the fucking stats. Take the claret specs off, if this was another club, there would be a thread on here about how shit they are, what players we could get once they go down etc.
Moyes is taking us down whether you like it or not, call it knicker wetting or whatever but it's about time we got fucking real and wake up to the harsh reality.

He isn't going to magic out of thin air a 5-6 game winning run, it will not happen guaran damn fucking teed

What a depressing thread . Fuck sake you wouldn't want to be in the trenches with some of our fans they'd surrender before the 1st shot is fired . If Moyes goes we'll stay up .

Stevethehammer - Are you still depressed after your best mate run off with your missus? Genuine question. Honestly, time for you to have a break from here.

If I recall correctly, Villa & Grealish would have been relegated but for a soft win against us.

Re: Team in the Championship
Forget that. It wasn't a great escape at all.

Re: Team in the Championship
Damn you.

5 teams in the last ten years have stayed up after being in the relegation zone after 23 games. One of which was our great escape.

Newcastle and Aston Villa are the only two clubs in the last five years to survive relegation after 23 games,,,,,,

I would have thought 17 clubs survived relegation each of them years :)

Newcastle and Aston Villa are the only two clubs in the last five years to survive relegation after 23 games, and one of which was only because Newcastle sacked Bruce for Howe.

This thread sums up the historically shit mindset of the club and most fans. What a defeatist and wanky thread to start.

You want to get rid of Emerson as well as he is earning 90 grand a week odd. Awful player, not sure what he offers that Cresswell doesn't.

Re: Team in the Championship
Sale of Rice, Scamacca and Paqueta + parachute payments would cover us easily in Year 1.

Plus offload the likes of Soucek, Coufal, Antonio and Fabianski to sort out the wage bill.
